Ron Davis, MD is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Ross Dermatology locations in San Antonio and LaVernia, Texas. He graduated from Southern Methodist University and then earned a master’s degree in pharmacology from Michigan State University. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. After completing a surgical internship at the University of Utah, he returned to Tulane for his dermatology residency.
Prior to joining Ross Dermatology in 2015, Dr. Davis served as a Professor of Dermatology and Assistant Residency Program Director at Tulane School of Medicine. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at UTSA Medical School. He has given numerous lectures at meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a past president of the Texas Dermatological Society and a past board member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Davis has received numerous awards for his work in dermatology. While he treats all types of skin diseases, his special areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, psoriasis, and eczema.
Dr. Davis is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the San Antonio and Texas Dermatology Societies.
